Power your non-ferrous separation lines with our Custom High-Speed Eddy Current Rotors.
They are the critical core component for:
– Auto Shredder Residue (ASR), Glass Cullet, and Municipal Waste (MRF) processing.
These magnetic assemblies generate the powerful alternating fields.
Essential for repelling aluminum, copper, and brass from the product stream.
Standard rotors use simple alternating poles.
We can produce rotors with significantly higher flux density and throw force.
Focuse the magnetic field entirely on the active face of the drum.
Our rotors deliver superior separation of Used Beverage Cans (UBC).
And even fine non-ferrous particles (<5mm) that standard rotors miss.
Engineering & Manufacturing Capabilities
High-Speed Dynamic Balancing:
An Eddy Current rotor typically spins at 2,000 to 3,000 RPM.
Vibration is catastrophic.
We balance every rotor assembly to ISO 1940 Grade G2.5 or G1.0.
Ensure smooth operation and protecting your high-speed bearings.
Composite Retention Sleeving:
We use advanced retention systems.
Contain the magnets against immense centrifugal forces.
Fiberglass / Kevlar Banding:
For standard waste processing.
Carbon Fiber Shells:
For ultra-high-speed (4,000 RPM+) applications requiring minimum shell thickness (air gap) and maximum strength.
Thermal Management:
Eddy currents create heat in the outer shell.
We use internal air cooling channels.
And select high-temperature NdFeB (UH/EH Grade) magnets.
Prevent irreversible demagnetization during 24/7 operation.
Customization Options
Organize by “Particle Size” and “Rotor Geometry”.
A. Pole Count & Frequency
10-12 Poles (Low Frequency):
Best for large aluminum cans (UBC) and coarse scrap (>50mm).
Deep flux throw ensures heavy objects are ejected.
24-36+ Poles (High Frequency):
Best for “Fines” recovery.
A high-frequency field is required to induce eddy currents in small particles.
Like copper wire chops, shredded circuit boards (E-Scrap).
Or crushed PET flake contaminants.
B. Rotor Topology (Concentric vs. Eccentric)
Concentric Rotors (Centered):
The magnet rotor is centered inside the outer shell.
Economical and effective for clean material streams.
Eccentric Rotors (Off-Set):
The premium standard.
The magnet rotor is positioned in only one quadrant of the shell.
Advantage:
Ferrous trash that gets trapped on the shell can rotate away from the magnetic field and drop off.
Prevent “burn-in” and shell damage.
We supply complete Eccentric Rotor Assemblies with adjustable magnet angles.
C. Magnetic Configuration
Standard N-S-N-S:
Cost-effective for general aluminum recovery.
Halbach Array:
Our specialty.
We arrange magnets to maximize the tangential field vector.
So, it offers a 15-20% higher repulsion force for the same rotor diameter.
Upgrade your separation efficiency.
No matter you are building a new machine or replacing a worn-out rotor.
The magnetic engine defines the performance.
